Cheryl: You were a beautiful and graceful lady and we loved you. When I first came into the Lanier family 45 years ago, I can remember meeting you and what a stunning woman you were. You were always dressed like a fashion model from New York and I always linked the word 'class' to you. Rest in peace my love - hope you are with Uncle Eddie and Aunt Ginny again and laughing with the angels. Tell everyone hello especially my Mother and my brother Mack! We will miss you. Love, Debi & Rick Lanier

Your beauty, grace, and charm will be missed. I will never forget your performance of the 'Dying Swan'. I was so fortunate to witness that dance performance in honor of my aunt, our dance teacher, Ruth Goodman. You can both dance for and with the angels now!

Knowing Cheryl Grayson was an extraordinary experience. We were introduced by mutual friends in September of 1977. I was just graduated from college and had been in Savannah for only three weeks. Her impeccable appearance and ballerina poise was such a surprising contrast to her fun-loving spirit. I had never met anyone like that; someone who seemed bigger than life, as if she were a character form a movie. She accepted me with such warmth and we often went to Symphony and other such outings together. I reveled in her beauty and joy of things. Cheryl's parents never hesitated to embrace me and one particular Easter Sunday dinner will always be vivid in my mind. Even though Savannah is my residence, family matters have kept me away for a long while and I can not be there now. I send Cheryl my love and admiration and ask her to give my love to all those we know who have gone before.

You will be missed by the White Bluff Elementary family.

How does someone get along when they are missing a part of themselves? Ask anybody at White Bluff and they will say that we were joined at the hip. We've gotten into a lot of antics together throughout the years. I'm going to miss the fun we've had and your companionship. You have taken a piece of my heart with you. I love you. I miss you.
